The 2 States Wedding - Mouni Roy & Suraj Nambiar

Girl meets boy, falls in love gradually and ties the knot and lived happily ever after. A cliche love story that never gets old and is always looked upon. Well, the Gold actress’ real-life love story wasn’t any different but glorious and unique in its own ways. The Bengali girl met her Malayali man in Dubai a couple of years ago. Ever since their meet-cute moment in 2019 New Year’s eve, the duo started dating each other and finally decided to seal it with wedlock. Mouni Roy finally tied the knot with Dubai-based entrepreneur Suraj Nambiar in Goa on January 27.

Her wedding was nothing less than a fairytale affair and the couple followed both Bengali and Malayali traditions.

The Devon ke Dev Mahadev actress soon shared pictures of her wedding on her social media channels captioning“I found him at last... Hand in hand, blessed by family & friends, We’re married!!!!!!!!!!! Need your love and blessings…27.01.22 Love, Suraj & Mouni.” Several celebrities reposed it wishing the couple a warm and beautiful journey ahead. For her South Indian wedding, Mouni was clad in a traditional white and red coloured saree and was dressed like a typical south Indian bride with gold bangles, a choker necklace, maang tika with a headband, Kamar bandh and real floral accessories for her hair. The groom looked suave in a golden silk kurta and white mundu. Her Bengali wedding ceremony was nothing less, it was equally grand and glam and Mouni looked like a diva in her Sabyasachi bridal red lehenga. Her flared lehenga featured floral embroidered gold motifs and a heavy thick gold border in zardozi and hand-embroidered work. Her makeup and hairdo were on point and she was the perfect Bengali bride in her alluring ensemble.

The couple ended their night with a Bengali wedding since the morning's ceremony was an ode to Suraj's roots.

Mouni’s best friends and colleagues including Mandira Bedi, Rahul Shetty, Arjun Bijlani & many others joined the couple at their sangeet ceremony and had a gala time. The pictures were all things glitz and glam and we absolutely adored her golden lehenga by ace designer duo Falguni Shane Peacock. The newlywed couple did set the stage on fire with their rocking moves grooving to the Tamil popular song Rowdy Baby for their sangeet ceremony.

They looked perfect for each other and were so in love.

We wish the lovely couple a lifetime of happiness and glory.
